This month I read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by JK Rolling. It’s is Harry’s fourth year of Hogwards of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and a bizarre entire in Harry’s name into the Triwizard Tournament, in which he has to compete with love and he’s life on the line. This book has magic, horror, comedy, love, and thriller. I could not stop reading. Some part are very sad and make a cry, while others make me laugh my head off. So if you like this kinds of book, there is a hole series eight books to injoy! This is only the beginning of this series and it is awesome. That is why I like Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. From the beginning i like neville longbottom He is a funny, kind, and smart character. In the book he is a very smart guy, he help harry to complete on of the challenges! One of he famous quotes is “You know, if you’re interested in plants, you should use Goshawk’s Guide To Herbology. There’s someone in Tibet who’s growing gravity resistant trees… Harry: Neville, no offense, but I really don’t care about plants.” My favorite quote is “Who’re you going with, then?” said Ron.
“Angelina,” said Fred promptly, without a trace of embarrassment.
“What?” said Ron, taken aback. “You’ve already asked her?”
“Good point,” said Fred. He turned his head and called across the common room, “Oi! Angelina!”
Angelina, who had been chatting with Alicia Spinnet near the fire, looked over at him.
“What?” She called back.
“Want to come to the ball with me?”
Angelina gave Fred a sort of appraising look.
“All right, then,” she said, and she turned back to Alicia and carried on chatting with a bit of a grin on her face.
“There you go,” said Fred to Harry and Ron, “piece of cake.” Because when i was reading this at nine in the evening it made me laugh, and I woke up my sister!

“We must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy.” Professor Dumbledore said in the fourth book (The Goblet of Fire) This quote was very important at the moment he was trying to let harry know the easy thing is to just let Voldemort win but is it right? This quote for me was very inspirational. For example, I did not want to do my homework then I thought of this quote, and its it right? It’s a way to think about your future and yourself. Another time is I was mad at a friend and I had all of these come backs and things I would say. But then I thought wait is this right to, to yell at your bestie for something silly? No! Today my friend and I are still pretty good friends.

I read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. The plot is that Harry is trying to discover the truth about his past. Soon he will find out about the prisoner of Azkaban Sirius Black and his parent’s friends. This book has a lot of drama, fantasies, adventures, and love. It also had great characters. My favorite character is Neville Longbottom. He is just a funny character. He is a pure-blood wizard. My favorite quote is “There was utter silence, broken by the smallest of terrified squeaks. Neville Longbottom, trembling from head to fluffy-slippered toes, raised his hand slowly into the air.” I can see Neville standing there scared to death!

My hero is Billy Joel. He is an American singer who was famous in the 1977. He is now 74 years old and is still performing. He sold more than 150 million records, and Billy Joel is rank as one of most popular recording artists and, entertainers in the world!! He has the 23 Grammys since signing his first solo recording contract in 1972. In 1999 he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He has sold over 10 million copies of this songs. One of my personal favorite songs is piano man. It is just an expiring song. The song is sung from Joel’s point of view as a piano player at a bar, recalling about his experiences there and the people. He is performing on April 13, 2024 in California! I love his work and as a singer is still going since 1964!

Last year my words was be original. This year my word is strength. Strength is use in a lot of whys: mentally, physically, and emotionally. I will work on my I’m my sport we use a lot of strength to pull myself up, to come down easy and safe. It is also heathy if you are in any why are a strength you are heathy. My mental strength is ok. I break down, I cry, I freak out easily, and even get mad at me for not the simplest thing. I will look up on how to breathe in and out. I will also ask my mom and sister about this.Last but not least emotionally, I would like to douse on no getting scared really easily. Sometime in laying in my bed freaking out.

“Calliope Georgantas report to the front! Calliope Georgantas report to the front office!” Oh no what did I do? “You are the principal for the day!” Said the assistant principal. “Wow, really?” I didn’t believe it “yes really” she said with excitement! “Ok, what do I do first?” I am dreaming? (I thought to my self) “well how bout you make a list” suggesting the assistant principal. “That’s smart” I walked to my desk, and stared working. what will I do today, I thought to myself. Oh, first I will add an extra long launch. For the 7th and 8th graders. Third the sixth will get a tour of the school. My third chose is coffee and lunch for the staff. They deserve it. I will go to each class and see what they want. This will be fun. “Miss swan is this ok?” She look and stared at it for about ten seconds. “This is great! I will have a iced coffee and a ham sandwich.” Laughing I said “got it!”

This month I read Fake Blood by Whitney Gardner. The plot of this book is a boy AJ likes a girl Nia. Nia is obsessed with vampires. AJ is pretending to be a vampire. He first researched thing about vampires, then he put make up on him to look like he has dark circles under his eyes, then be bought fake blood, and vampire teeth. (that did not go well) he realized that she is not obsessed with vampire, she is obsessed killing them! I like this book even though it is a comic it is still really good. I like how AJ keeps digging a bigger hole for him to get out of. The make up the money and lying to his friend and maybe loose them. My favorite character is Hunter. He is one of AJ’s best friends. He is fun kind and kind of wakky. My favorite quote is “I bet he even knows how to use VampChat.” Is made he laugh when I read it.

“Grandpa! Grandpa!” A squeaky voice rang out. “What is it, Ryan?” Grandpa voice rang. “Haha! You sound like James Earl Jones.” BOOM! “Gun shot!” Grandpa’s voice was now longer now, and it sounded more in frighted. “You go. I have an idea” yelled Ryan. Grandpa ran for his life. But not know what going behind him. Finally he made it to safety, and he could see what was happening. BOOM!! Another gun shot and Ryan was on the ground. The hunters ran to see if they got him. As soon and there shadow was over the head. Ryan jumped up. Kicked them in the face and ran. He found Grandpa, and went to go tell the others.

I love thanksgiving and one thing I have is to make a thankful tree. Everyone in my family makes a leaf that says what you are thankful for. We all put three things that we are thankful for. My mom always puts “I’m thankful for my health girls.” My dad leaf always saids “I’m thankful for my heathy wife.” This year I’m been thinking what am thankful for. Well first I’m thankful for my health. Because my family has problems, not fighting or in trouble. We have medical problems. Like heart disease (my dad hands it), really bad migraines (I have that, and my dad), and skin cancer (my papa has that). I’m thankful for my health, because one day that can go away. Im grateful for my sport, aerials. Aerials has help stamina my health, and mental health. My dad said that if I didn’t do aerials I would have a higher chance of getting heart disease. During my years of Aerials i have made so many new friend that do and understand me!I’m also grateful for having a roof over my head. The hot weather and the rain would not be fun. I think that that is a good thing to put on my leaf. What would you put on your leaf?

I read Ickabog by J. K. Rowling. The books plot is a monster called the Ickabog that lives in the marshlands. Ickabog loves eating sheep and people. People of the land feared it because of one lie. King Fred the Fearless is a scariedy cat. Dora Dovetail dies of overwork while trying to finish King Fred’s latest costume. Fred feels embarrassed , says no to visit her family, leading them to become mad at him, especially Dora’s daughter, Daisy. A fight with Daisy and her friend Bert Beamish when Daisy insults Fred. An accident in the marshes results in Beamish getting shot by Flapoon, one of Fred’s spires. Trying to rule the kingdom and become richer, Spittleworth, Flapoon lies and says that Beamish was killed by the Ickabog. And they use that lie to put fear in the people for money.

I love this plot because all of it comes together and forms a story that is sad, mysterious, and joyful in some parts. My favorite character is King Fred the Fearless. King Fred the Fearless was the king of the kingdom of Cornucopia. In the book King Fred is described having “yellow curls, a fine sweeping moustache, and looked magnificent in the tight breeches, velvet doublets, and ruffled shirts that rich men wore all the time.” King Fred is generous, smiled and waved whenever anyone caught sight of him. But, he was scared easily. In the book he is funny and not smart, which makes him a fun character. My favorite quote from the book is “Tears can heal a mind, as well as laughter.” This quote was said by Mr. Dovetail, Daisy Dovetail’s dad. This is a small but powerful quote.
